In 2008, Kids Who Rule was nominated for a Silver Birch Award, a children’s choice award where the kids decide on the winners. Charis and the Queen appeared at the Festival of Trees celebration at Harbourfront, Toronto. They are both featured in this short video about the Forest of Reading program.
